The CLIL-Pyramid by Oliver Meyer. The CLIL-Pyramid is based on the 4Cs-Framework and was developed as an integrative planning tool for material writers and lesson planners. It has been successfully used in both pre- and in-service teacher training courses in Germany and across Europe.

ALL CLIL4Teachers is a wiki hosted by the Association for Language Learning and is managed and maintained by the Association's CLIL Special Interest Group. It offers a resource bank and useful links, especially for French and German as a means of instruction. There is a welcome addressed by Do Coyle and a document about the contribution CLIL can make to UK national languages capability.

AICOLE (Aprendizaje integrado de contenido y lengua) is the Comunidad de Madrid site for the bilingual programme. It offers resources for different subject areas and levels.

English for CLIL Teachers. The site provides plenty of opportunities for independent learning and professional development of the specific language and teaching competences that each teacher needs in his/her situation.

European Framework for CLIL Teacher Education

Content and language integrated learning (CLIL) has emerged as a major innovation for improving both the quality of language learning and reform of educational curricula. As the professional competence of teachers must be based on student needs, CLIL curricula, whether designed for teacher training or for classroom teaching and learning, should be complementary.

CLIL MATRIX. The CLIL Matrix is an awareness-raising and training tool for teachers who wish to consider the skills and knowledge necessary for achieving quality CLIL and to examine the extent to which they are prepared for teaching through CLIL.

CCN (CLIL Cascade Network). CCN aims to consolidate local, regional and national network activities in CLIL at a European level so as to accelerate development of teacher competencies and qualifications, localized and regional competence building.
