Borsa de valors és un establiment privat on els seus membres realitzen negociacions de compra venda d’accions de societats o companyies anònimes, així com bons públics i privats, certificats, títols de participació i una varietat d’instruments d’inversió. Les borses de valors fomenten l’estalvi i la inversió a llarg termini, enfortint al mercat de capitals i impulsant el desenvolupament econòmic i social d’un país. Per a altres usos d’aquest terme, vegi’s Borsa de valors (desambiguació). Els participants en l’operació de les borses, són bàsicament els demandants de capital (les empreses, els organismes), els oferentes de capital (estalviadors, inversionistas) i els intermediaris. La negociació en les borses de valors s’efectua a través d’intermediaris que són membres de la Borsa, coneguts usualment amb el nom de corredors, societats de corretaje de valors, cases de borsa, agents de borsa o comisionistas, d’acord a la denominació que reben en les lleis de cada país. La primera Borsa es va crear a Amsterdam en els primers anys del segle XVII. Actualment existeixen aquestes institucions en molts països, sent la més important del món, fins a ara, la Borsa de Nova York, que recentment va començar la seva transformació per a convertir-se en una xarxa electrònica de negociació similar al mercat Nasdaq, també nord-americà, que actualment desenvolupa un procés per a assolir l’autorització per a convertir-se en una borsa de valors. Durant aquesta setmana passada experimenta els canvis següents:

  • L’Ibex 35 s’alia amb la incertessa i cedeix un 0,20%.
  • La bolsa obri sense un camí determinat però manté les 14.400
  • L’Ibex perd un 1,42% i tanca una setmana negra.
  • Retrocedeix un 1,02% i perd los 14.500.
  • L’IPC manté la seva taxa anual al 2,5% a abril.

 I durant aquestos dos últims messos ha experimentat:

  • La borsa arranca amb perdues mentre el cru segueix pujant.
  • S’inicia la setmana amb descensos per Wall Street
  • Altre cop les ventes se apoderen del Ibex, però es mantenen els 14.500
  • La borsa s’obri amb suaus caigudes, amb tres valors suspesos.

Durant aquest últim any ha fet el següent:

  • Tailanda reviu els temor de la crisi de finals del 90.
  • Els fantasmes de la “crisi” i la “inflació” afecten a les bolses.
  • L’IBEX 35 recupera terreny i tambe 14.200 punts.
  • L’IBEX 35 continua guanyant terreny conseguint 14.400 punts.

- Què és La Borsa?

La borsa, és un mercat on es venen o compren actius financers, com accions, obligacions, etc. També podem dir que aquestes compres i vendes es realitzen sota la llei especulativa d’ofertants i demandants. Així, podem definir la borsa de valors com a un establiment privat on els seus membres realitzen negociacions de compra venda d’accions de societats o companyies anònimes, així com bons públics i privats, certificats, títols de participació i una varietat d’instruments d’inversió.

- Com funciona?

Bàsicament, el funcionament es basa en la compra i venda d’accions, el preu de les cuals es defineix a partir del funcionament de l’empresa i de la venda i demanda d’aquestes.

La negociació en les borses de valors s’efectua a través d’intermediaris que són membres de la Borsa, coneguts usualment amb el nom de corredors.

 Els mercats borsaris han tingut un bon comportament aquest any passat. L’índex de referència al mercat espanyol, l’Íbex-35, ha tancat l’exercici als 10.733,9 punts, amb una revalorització del 18,2%. La borsa espanyola es queda molt a prop dels nivells rècord del 1999, quan van tancar l’exercici a 11.641 punts i, després d’estirar els màxims en els tres primeros mesos del 2000, va caure amb força durant tres anys consecutius. La revalorització de l’Íbex se situa per sobre de l’alça de la inflació (3,8%) i del sector immobiliari, que estarà per sota del 18%.

Malgrat tot, l’evolució de la borsa espanyola es troba per sota de la mitjana europea. L’Eurostoxx-50, que recull la cotització de les empreses més representatives del Vell Continent, ha tingut un alça del 21%. Els mercats borsaris de París i Frankfurt també han superat l’espanyol i només Londres ha aconseguit un alça més petita. 

De fet, l’Íbex-35 va créixer per sobre de la resta d’índexs europeus fins a l’octubre, quan el Banc Central Europeu va donar els primers senyals d’una imminent pujada dels tipus d’interès per controlar la inflació en un entorn de recuperació de l’economia. La pèssima evolució de les companyies de telecomunicacions europees en els últims mesos de l’any tampoc ha ajudat la borsa espanyola, on el grup Telefónica té un pes fonamental.
